Tube-in-Tube Heat Exchanger

Tube-in-Tube heat exchangers are a type of concentric tubes design, commonlyused in wastewater treatment plants, food processing plants, and the textile and dyeing industry.

In wastewater treatment, the inner tube serves as a sludge/sewage channel, while the outer tube is a water-side channel, making it a counter-current heat exchanger. The unidirectional concentric tube design is suitable for heating sludge and organic waste during anaerobic digestion. Large inner tubes with a diameter of 80-150 mm are used to prevent clogging.

Its advantages are reflected in its applicable industries:
